A vintage that will remain in the memory

In the hills of Asolo, 2016 was a year to remember for the optimal ripening of the grapes due to an overall optimal climate. We were able to harvest both Shiraz and Merlot at the right time, grapes with high sugar content and excellent acid support.

Thanks to all this CONA'MORE 2016 is a wine of great balance and harmony.

How it's made

After the harvest, we do two different maceration, Shiraz 15 days on the skins and Merlot 100+ days. After that, the two bases of Shiraz and Merlot mature on their fine lees for about 5 to 10 months, and then we moved them to barriques and tonneaux for 16/18 months. After this refinement period, we made the blend, precisely 78% Shiraz and 22% Merlot.

After bottling, CONA'MORE 2016 underwent 12 months of bottle aging before being put on the market.
