DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2018 | ROSE' DELLE STELLE

We are pleased to share with you that Rosè delle Stelle | Brut | Millesimato 2017 in its first participation received the Bronze medal with the score of 87/100 in the international competition DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2018 - LONDON

Rosè delle Stelle was born from the 2010 harvest when Enrica, following her feminine intuition, decided to create a rosé bubble from the assembly of white wine and rosé wine from red-berried grapes from Tenuta Baron Vineyard. At the time, it was a blend of Prosecco and Cabernet Sauvignon re-fermented in autoclave to produce an extra dry soft sparkling wine with fine bubbles.

In subsequent vintages, thanks to the study of the assembly of the bases, Rosè delle Stelle has increasingly found its shape. First with the inclusion of Verduzzo Trevigiano, native vine of the area, coming from an old vineyard of Tenuta Baron and in a second moment using the Raboso del Piave vinified in pink with cold maceration, which gives acidity and fruit.

From the 2016 vintage Rosè delle Stelle becomes Brut, with a lower dosage of sugars thus presenting itself more and more balanced and complex.

With the millennium 2017, which honors us with this recognition, we have changed the "recipe" putting aside the Prosecco and using the three varieties that are more harmonious in the assembly: Verduzzo Trevigiano, Raboso del Piave cold macerated and Merlot vinified for salasso. This is our Rosè delle Stelle | Brut | Millesimato 2017 that gave to the Baron Family and its collaborators for their commitment this marvelous recognition received from DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2018 - LONDON
